Fair enough. But i joined for other game Man of the house. Started too looking for more like it and the most discussed game was this one, so happy coincidence but i'm glad i got here :)

These terms, particularly when capitalised or begun with a capital letter, are generally only applied within the esoteric world of BDSM & its' practitioners. Latex, leather, body harnesses, etc. At the extreme end of the fetish & put crudely, Dom inflicts pain, Sub absorbs it. They may or may not swap places sometimes. I don't see a place for this in AWAM. Sophia in a latex dominatrix suit, while some might find this enticing, I believe a majority would feel repelled. Latex is difficult to wear, sticky, makes a body sweat & looks & feels what it is, artificial. It's revolting stuff.

[Sophia already has the biker oufit from the 3rd task, which would also be suitable but I prefer to think of her in this as a gorgeous biker chick/pillion passenger, rather than Sadie Stern].

Before anyone chimes in with something along the lines of, 'it would be great to see this situation regarding Aiden', let me just say I can't be bothered with a long reply on this, so I'll state in advance it's a case of 'yeah, yeah, whatever....use the opt out'.

You don't like blackmail, fine. There's an opt-out on it's way. I don't like incest but I've never ranted about my distaste, because fans should more or less know what they might encounter in a corruption game, which AWAM still purports to be, last time I checked. Blackmail is present in so many corruption stories involving the sexual exploits of an originally less adventurous character. AWAM, for some reason, has sparked more self-righteous anti-blackmail outrage than anything I've ever played. Yes, we get invested in characters & no, we don't want any long-term serious harm to befall them but it must not be overlooked that these are fictional, pixel people.

I do think that it might have been Bennett who was the better candidate for the story's blackmailer & I've also written about possible stronger reasons for it than those we've been given for both villains. Bennett was sidelined, IMO, because of anti-blackmail hysteria, amongst other things. Then Aiden came along & away we went again. This forthcoming opt-out will, hopefully, put an end to my tenure as the thread's resident blackmail defender & interpreter. I started playing & joined the discussion years ago, (before blackmail was in the story) & find myself repeating a similar theme for each new generation of players.

Thinking about another recently posted topic. I'll say that the day even a hint of bestiality occurs in AWAM, is the day I will uninstall. That's not corruption, it's something else & again there are games catering for animal antics. They have no place in an erotic work of fiction with ambitions to be more realistic than most games/VNs.

We dont want to see any real long term harm come to these characters? Speak for your self I was hoping for a Proper rape scene in the subway... And hopefully there is a bunch of bad endings

Secondly the storyline. L&P is trying to tell an erotic tale rather than a sucession of porn scenes. It is about the corruption of Sophia but at least an attempt made for this to be more realistic - unlike most porn games / VN where the female characters fall for the male MC just because he has a magic dick or have sex within five minutes of meeting. In game it attempts to show more rea;istic pace of corruption. It is not totally successful as it is still trying to tell complete story in 30 Playable Days and includes incest with son and/or daughter as a main storyline. But it does at least make an effort towards realism even if does nt quite achieve it.

(The downside is the increasingly slow real life devlopment of an ever increasingly complex storyline being told by a first time developer, primarily working alone. This together with the slow in game corruption leaves us still awaiting for Sophia to have sex with a person apart from husband (I said person deliberately to exclude Antonio, Alyssa's sybian).

Thirdly the graphics. L&P is up there, in my opinion, with the best renderers on this site. Whereas some Daz artists will spend time on the main characters and leave a blank 2d looking background (which does nt put off those simply looking for a quick fap as alternative to porn), L&P takes time on the whole scene, background and all. He tries to pay attention to time of day when considering the lighting effects and can create gorgeous renders.

However he can veer toards the obsessed in his pursuit of artistic perfection. He will think nothing on spending half an hour rendering a simple scene, even if this just is a transistion scene. His text can be a bit wordy and he will do what many consider as superfluous renders showing both characters in the conversation, often with a distinct render for each page. I do wish he would focus more on pushing forward the storyline faster but that is th way he works. He seems more interested in the art than the financial side of getting more Patreon subcribers, which he could easily do if he had kept the storyline more streamlined and story focussed, a fact that confuses most Trolls and those kids just wanting a quick fap.

In the next four Playabale Days we are supposedly due to see half a dozen sex / sxual scenes, but currently each Playable Day in game is taking more than a year in real life to release. o we hope that he does nt hit burnout or lose focus, and cautiously / nervously hope that we will get to see such hot scenes, allowing for the fact that what L&P considers "hot" is not always a universally shared opinion....

Normally when I write anything about blackmail, or feel obliged to defend it's very existence in AWAM, I hear objections from fans who hate blackmail &/or want to wrap Sophia in cotton wool like some precious china doll. I also, ironically IMO, get facepalms from fans who think incest good/blackmail bad & hate the blackmailers, (which we're meant to as 'good' villains), while considering Dylan as promising future bed company.

Yours is the first post, in 4 years of commentary, to suggest I'm not extreme enough! I was beginning to think this fanbase was totally content with AWAM's vanilla approach & you've shown this is not the case.

I'm afraid you'll be disappointed in your hopes, according to what L&P has said in the past, unless he changes his mind. There could be bad endings, if the VN is ever brought to a proper conclusion, (currently forecast for the early 2050s & counting) but these are more likely to consist of the break-up of the marriage, family & home, i.e. full-on domestic misery.

Clarification for those who just got to the thread: There is an Addon that L&P is going to integrate into the game and if it is not finished, it does not matter if it reaches 100% in everything, there will be no update. So don't get excited, you will be disappointed before your time.

My guess is that he could have got 4 circles of 100% by now but is deliberately delaying, i.e. more than usual, because of the special addition. We know from this thread, that large numbers of fans don't read much, when it comes to charting progress. We also know that every update is surrounded by an eruption of all sorts of comments. If the game is shown as finished but no update appears, this could increase exponentially, perhaps even on Patreon. This might be a forseeable hassle. As I say I'm just guessing.

We may not see this update for another month, which would make it a nice round 4 months since the last update arrived. Having said that, if 0.155 is here faster than this it might seem like a positive thing, when in reality of course it wouldn't be but it will still generate huge interest, whenever it happens. Now we wait to see whether pirates will still be able to get access, or whether we'll have to wait some more.
