BAD is always like a hour or even more worth of content, while AWAM is mostlikely less then 10 minutes worth of content.
This is at best. In general, the author sucked very well to the feeder. And methodically comes up with new ways to stretch the development time in order to earn as much money as possible. And why do you think there are no scenes of incest, infidelity, normal groping, rape? So that people would be interested in "what if there is something in this update"...
I know, using the Hoccam's razor the simplest explanation is to prefer and you are probably right. It's just that I find strange/curious that he didn't then release the uncensored version as well. That's it. But I guess we will "soon" know.
I cannot agree more with you on keeping the entropy as low as possible.
And as you say, before the teaser I was just assuming that Sophia goes to Morello only under the "very happy Larry" condition and he helps her without anything in return because he feels in debt with her.
Then the "quid pro quo?" of the title was (purposely?) ambiguous because it can be interpreted as Morello doing something for Sophia in exchange for something, or Sophia going cash in the "moral" debt Morello declared to have for what she has already done.
Since I like to leave no stone unturned
I listed them among the possible options. But personally I'd prefer to keep the paths and branches as simple and little as possible.

As a general rule of thumb "stretching development time" or "Delaying Things" never earns anyone more money. It always earns less money. If L&P Was producing updates at the same quality and quantity but several times faster their earnings would significantly go up.
Reaching the end of a project is rarely a downfall either if you start up a new one right away most devs grow even bigger after a completed game.
Even Milkers like Icstor making 400 renders in 2+ years start to lose money when they go at a snail pace.
If profits are the goal you would most definitely release things of better quality, faster, and with more content.

AWAM gets a lot of criticism lately and not only from us on f95, even his patreons are not happy anymore with the whole situation. after the last realese of AWAM he said; there will be less content from now on, but faster delivering of the updates. so far he only deliverd less content but the pace of new updates are the same.
if it do not pace up in the next 1-2 updates after this one, i am pretty sure this game gets abandoned in 1-2 years.

Keep in mind he said the update would come out end of january. Im sure people subscribed based on that, then they subscribed again because they thought it would come out in February.

No, Task 4 - PD13 (First Solution this update) or Task 7/8 - PD 18/19 (Second Solution) will get you out of 12 Tasks/Blackmail. But you can only get out of it (First Solution) providing that you satisfied your visit with Larry, which triggers Sophia's thought about using Don Morello when she received the text from Aiden during Nathalie's scene after the jogging scene with Dylan.
And since the second option is supposed to be the uncomfortable one you have to wonder what could make the mafia seem like the best choice.

ICSTOR wasn't a milker, he was a straight up con artist. I think it's really important to note the distinction. As frustrated as we are with L&P, ICSTOR is in a league of his own and deserves a special level of disdain.

Gumdrop is closer to ICSTOR than L&P. Gumdrop also seems like he legit went crazy and broke from reality, so I'd still put ICSTOR on a level all to himself.
I actually have contemplated making a scale to measure and rank devs once they reach a certain point of crappiness.
If Sophia has the full score with Larry, the school ends are gone and Morello and Sophia can start building their relationship all over again. If Sophia tells Morello the whole truth about being blackmailed by Aiden, Morello can't ask for anything potentially erotic in return, he can't even ask for a date. He would thereby take advantage of Sophia's situation, possibly scaring her away so that Sophia would prefer Aiden's blackmail. Morello's personality, I think, would also not allow him to bind a woman to himself in this way, it makes him look weak. I would have Morello proceed with much more sophistication. What is it about, at least he had the content that we all need. Not this one... he milks the same way for years and does not give his patrons anything at all. People demand spectacles. And eventually, after all this nonsense that he does, Sofia will leave her husband for Don Morello or his brother...or who's in prison there...and until then, it will continue like this.
