Of course not as long as it doesn't change the meaning of the word. But calling Shiv as Shiva is wrong, Because Ma Shakti is known as Shiva, here the meaning of the word is changed hence its wrong if you say Shiva instead of Shiv.

I saw this podcast in the night couple of days ago and before sleeping I just wished ‘one day I would love to meet Gauranga Prabhu Das and surprisingly you believe it or not but next day I got a message from my childhood friend after so many days (who is a Monk at one of the ISCON Center in Pune) and in the message he mentioned that - “today in the evening Gauranga Prabhu Das is coming and there will be 1.5 hours of Satsang followed by his speech try to come if you can” after reading this I pinched myself to check “am I dreaming or it’s a reality”…So of-course I went to the ISCON temple that evening along with my family members and at attended the Satsang. Got to see him from very close distance…what a calm & pleasant personality. For me this is nothing less than a miracle. Hare Krishna!!! 🙏
I met him in Sydney few years back. His face and eyes were glowing as if lights are fitted inside his face. What an aura he has! I wish him to be my Guru. 🙏

For example I know that as soon as I leave for work, you won't do a home invasion on my house, or when you are not there, I go to your house to befriend your wife, or worse. Proper socially acceptable behaviour onpart of everyone in a society is must for order, otherwise it will be anarchy. To avoid all this, there is a narrative, that is God and religion. Mostly people are innocent, and follow the prescribed path. If someone goes around burgling houses, there is nothing you can do about it, only the police can help. But the police can catch the burglar and put him in jail. That is the fear the burglar has. Same fear , of God, is put in all of us, by religion. Stop believing all this, and be a himane human being. You will find that there are a lot of people who don't believe in this things, but they are not criminals, they are actually better educated people, you will find. @@theunusualgyan9940 If this is true, why do we have scriptures and evidence of our dharma that dates back thousands of years? There is evidence that Ramayana indeed happened in real life, thousands of years back. Every historical mention in the scriptures can be found in reality. Many temples do show miracles as well. Considering all this, I don't think you can simply say that religion is a myth or something we have been forced to follow. As the host Gauranga Das mentioned, you need to connect with your reality to accept its nature. Until then, our human mind will question everything even when the answer is right in front of our eyes.
Wow! I think I needed this, I've been listening to you since my cancer diagnosis 2.5 yrs ago. On 18th of this month I've a 3rd surgery, and as the day comes closer I feel anxious honestly fearful the segment on accident reached a layer deeper, as everything is in God's scheme, the pain but hes still keeping ke alive tells me ive a bigger purpose in life, even on a smaller scale, elevating the people who are fighting the same battle. This conversation makes sense, which I knew but needed to validate. I will hear it again moving closer to my surgery to find calmness while I chant almighty's name. Thankyou, I enjoy your spiritual podcast, most of them weather its geo politics, history or any it gives me the knowledge my mind craves, but the celebrity ones are hit or miss. I just want to share my story... I was married to a spiritually sound person who taught me a lot of things , gave me a lot of adhyatmik knowledge... And then I started doing my own sadhana... Suddenly a tornado just strike off and we were separated on the starting of this year.... I was very depressed at that moment and use to pray whole day.. I used to ask God in spite of being so sincere didn't do any bad karma in present life then why this happened with me... I started bring more and used to meditate whole day to overcome the flashback memory is over thinking etc and used to grasp as much spiritual knowledge I can... In that moment are used to feel that God is with me...vo diya bhi jo me lagati thi vo pura fire me create ho jati thi and puri wath jal jathi thi ...kabhi kabhi ek side diya jalaya par dusre side se apne ap lag jati thi... At that time I used to suddenly get up at 3:00 or 3.30 a.m... Coincidentally I met jyotish guruji who told me that this was written in my destiny to happen... I got my answers then Slowly I understood that might be I it was my something past life karma for that I faced this situation... And also he was the person who showed me direction to the spiritual world and just then vanished off... Hari Om 🙏🙏🙏

Gauranga Das is awesome! A great example of how one even after seeing success of becoming an IITian etc has turned to spirituality. Simple in search of true happiness and it doesn't lie just in IITs, ISBs and working for Amazon, Meta, Apple etc. There is much more to life and such examples are needed to emphasize this further.
I'm so grateful to the almighty that I came through this video. The respectful monk answered so many of my questions and gave clarity to my thoughts. His energy radiated and touched me and hope has done the same to many others.

So fortunate to be able to listen to the precious dharma as elucidated by Gauranga Das Prabhu ji. This makes me miss my Guru so much, who has passed into clear light. Tears come as I recall those precious past when we were fortunate enough to sit at our Guru's feet to receive the dharma. But his teachings remain in our minds and in many YT videos. Enlightened beings will never say they are enlightened, but we can see, from their words, thoughts, actions which match what they teach, and their level of attainments is obvious. It's bodhicitta that brings them back into our realm and other realms life time after lifetimes to teach and benefit. What Guru ji teaches is the same as what my Guru teaches based on Buddha dharma. Our aspiration for practice as a Buddhist should be liberation from samsara, not attainment of the god realm. What Guru ji describes as heavenly denizens, I understand as the god realm which is still in samsara and conditions are harder to practice. The human realm (with the 18 opportune conditions) is the best place to receive teachings, practice towards enlightenment. There is the right amount of distress and favourable conditions. This is the kaliurga age where ego and desire are strong. It's that ego that needs to be destroyed, then bodhicitta arises and we exist to benefit others, not ourselves, when we treat friend, enemy or strangers the same. My Guru spoke of death a lot, not to sound morbid, but to prepare for where we go next. He also taught death meditation. So instead of wasting our rare human existence, we use this time, instead of praying for worldly possessions, learn the dharma, apply the dharma, purify our past negative karma, apply the antidotes which is doing the opposite of our negative actions at the minimum. Of course, with a guru's guidance. Unless we are able to fast track our practice to gain enlightenment within one lifetime, best is for another human rebirt to continue our practice, with the same guru in guidance, till we achieve enlightenment. Whether Hinduism or Buddhism, the methods may be different, but the goal may be the same

I have watched this podcast but one thing i always regret is i am unable to retain all the things which he said. They were way too deep for me to fully understand.
@@ronakbothra6371 So the good news is you don't have to retain everything, no one can retain everything unless he is some kind of genius or has photogenic memory, which we are not. Now, about this podcast, just take 2 things or only take 1 thing, you can jot it down, understand it, contemplate on it, again read/remember it daily and try to embed that in your habits and live with that one thing. It's not a single-day thing, you have to practice it daily and one day it will become you, so its a long-process. You don't have to remember 1000s of things, you just to read 1 thing 1000s of times and make it part of your life, and then slowly things will unfold.
This podcast has touched my life and heart. I need to listen this multiple times to really understand the vast knowledge and spiritual information. Thank you Ranveer & Team for blessing me with these podcasts and much more to come in future.

@@theunusualgyan9940 Not a book but a series of books are written in the form of Puranas, Upanishads, Vedas, Gita, Epics: Mahabharat & Ramayan which explains various yug dharma rooted within deep morals behind those fascinating stories and its application in our current lives. These teachings holds great relevance even today. Rishi and munis really thought this through.

I've been a huge fan of your podcast and I really admire the way you bring out the profound knowledge and learning via your questions. This one specifically made feel a lot better as I'm going through a lot lately considering I've been living in a remote corner of Europe for the last 7 years. Your work brings me closer to my country, to my culture and subsequently my family values. I saw this podcast in the night couple of days ago and before sleeping I just wished ‘one day I would love to meet Gauranga Prabhu Das and surprisingly you believe it or not but next day I got a message from my childhood friend after so many days (who is a Monk at one of the ISCON Center in Pune) and in the message he mentioned that - “today in the evening Gauranga Prabhu Das is coming and there will be 1.5 hours of Satsang followed by his speech try to come if you can” after reading this I pinched myself to check “am I dreaming or it’s a reality”…So of-course I went to the ISCON temple that evening along with my family members and at attended the Satsang. Got to see him from very close distance…what a calm & pleasant personality. For me this is nothing less than a miracle.

I'm always in awe. Gaurangadas Prabhuji talks so fluently and his voice is so calming. Let's see what he has for us this time.
There is no karma, reincarnation etc. Nothing. These things are all tought by religion. Religion means there is a God. God is supposed to reward good behaviour and punish bad behaviour. All this is there to keep you on the straight and narrow path, and make you lead an orderly and predictable path. For example I know that as soon as I leave for work, you won't do a home invasion on my house, or when you are not there, I go to your house to befriend your wife, or worse. Proper socially acceptable behaviour onpart of everyone in a society is must for order, otherwise it will be anarchy. To avoid all this, there is a narrative, that is God and religion. Mostly people are innocent, and follow the prescribed path. If someone goes around burgling houses, there is nothing you can do about it, only the police can help. But the police can catch the burglar and put him in jail. That is the fear the burglar has. Same fear , of God, is put in all of us, by religion. Stop believing all this, and be a himane human being. You will find that there are a lot of people who don't believe in this things, but they are not criminals, they are actually better educated people, you will find. If you are good, religion is not needed!

There is evidence that Ramayana indeed happened in real life, thousands of years back. Every historical mention in the scriptures can be found in reality. Many temples do show miracles as well. Considering all this, I don't think you can simply say that religion is a myth or something we have been forced to follow.
As the host Gauranga Das mentioned, you need to connect with your reality to accept its nature. Until then, our human mind will question everything even when the answer is right in front of our eyes.
Wow! I think I needed this, I've been listening to you since my cancer diagnosis 2.5 yrs ago. On 18th of this month I've a 3rd surgery, and as the day comes closer I feel anxious honestly fearful the segment on accident reached a layer deeper, as everything is in God's scheme, the pain but hes still keeping ke alive tells me ive a bigger purpose in life, even on a smaller scale, elevating the people who are fighting the same battle.
This conversation makes sense, which I knew but needed to validate.
I will hear it again moving closer to my surgery to find calmness while I chant almighty's name.

I've experienced what most people can't even imagine not because I was atheist or something yeah it could have been my fault but bhagwad gita and krishna give me peace and completeness that no other human or I could give my self
I still remember the day when I wanted to give up my life crashed my car ended up being in hospital for around 3.5 months all this while a random stranger was helping me during my discharge he didn't even met me just left his copy of bhagwad gita with a note give it a chance you'll never regret

I just want to share my story... I was married to a spiritually sound person who taught me a lot of things , gave me a lot of adhyatmik knowledge... And then I started doing my own sadhana... Suddenly a tornado just strike off and we were separated on the starting of this year.... I was very depressed at that moment and use to pray whole day..
I used to ask God in spite of being so sincere didn't do any bad karma in present life then why this happened with me...
I started bring more and used to meditate whole day to overcome the flashback memory is over thinking etc and used to grasp as much spiritual knowledge I can... In that moment are used to feel that God is with me...vo diya bhi jo me lagati thi vo pura fire me create ho jati thi and puri wath jal jathi thi ...kabhi kabhi ek side diya jalaya par dusre side se apne ap lag jati thi...
At that time I used to suddenly get up at 3:00 or 3.30 a.m...
Coincidentally I met jyotish guruji who told me that this was written in my destiny to happen... I got my answers then
Slowly I understood that might be I it was my something past life karma for that I faced this situation...
And also he was the person who showed me direction to the spiritual world and just then vanished off...

Gauranga Das is awesome! A great example of how one even after seeing success of becoming an IITian etc has turned to spirituality. Simple in search of true happiness and it doesn't lie just in IITs, ISBs and working for Amazon, Meta, Apple etc. There is much more to life and such examples are needed to emphasize this further.
I'm so grateful to the almighty that I came through this video. The respectful monk answered so many of my questions and gave clarity to my thoughts. His energy radiated and touched me and hope has done the same to many others.

So fortunate to be able to listen to the precious dharma as elucidated by Gauranga Das Prabhu ji. This makes me miss my Guru so much, who has passed into clear light. Tears come as I recall those precious past when we were fortunate enough to sit at our Guru's feet to receive the dharma. But his teachings remain in our minds and in many YT videos. Enlightened beings will never say they are enlightened, but we can see, from their words, thoughts, actions which match what they teach, and their level of attainments is obvious. It's bodhicitta that brings them back into our realm and other realms life time after lifetimes to teach and benefit. What Guru ji teaches is the same as what my Guru teaches based on Buddha dharma. Our aspiration for practice as a Buddhist should be liberation from samsara, not attainment of the god realm. What Guru ji describes as heavenly denizens, I understand as the god realm which is still in samsara and conditions are harder to practice. The human realm (with the 18 opportune conditions) is the best place to receive teachings, practice towards enlightenment. There is the right amount of distress and favourable conditions. This is the kaliurga age where ego and desire are strong. It's that ego that needs to be destroyed, then bodhicitta arises and we exist to benefit others, not ourselves, when we treat friend, enemy or strangers the same. My Guru spoke of death a lot, not to sound morbid, but to prepare for where we go next. He also taught death meditation. So instead of wasting our rare human existence, we use this time, instead of praying for worldly possessions, learn the dharma, apply the dharma, purify our past negative karma, apply the antidotes which is doing the opposite of our negative actions at the minimum. Of course, with a guru's guidance. Unless we are able to fast track our practice to gain enlightenment within one lifetime, best is for another human rebirt to continue our practice, with the same guru in guidance, till we achieve enlightenment. Whether Hinduism or Buddhism, the methods may be different, but the goal may be the same

I have watched this podcast but one thing i always regret is i am unable to retain all the things which he said. They were way too deep for me to fully understand.
@@ronakbothra6371 So the good news is you don't have to retain everything, no one can retain everything unless he is some kind of genius or has photogenic memory, which we are not. Now, about this podcast, just take 2 things or only take 1 thing, you can jot it down, understand it, contemplate on it, again read/remember it daily and try to embed that in your habits and live with that one thing. It's not a single-day thing, you have to practice it daily and one day it will become you, so its a long-process. You don't have to remember 1000s of things, you just to read 1 thing 1000s of times and make it part of your life, and then slowly things will unfold.

Although there are many episodes in this channel (& internet) that touch upon sorrow, anxiety, depression, life problems, etc. Swami Gaurang Das's clarity of thought, calmness and simplicity makes it so easy to understand & face these challenges.

There is no karma, reincarnation etc. Nothing. These things are all tought by religion. Religion means there is a God. God is supposed to reward good behaviour and punish bad behaviour. All this is there to keep you on the straight and narrow path, and make you lead an orderly and predictable path. For example I know that as soon as I leave for work, you won't do a home invasion on my house, or when you are not there, I go to your house to befriend your wife, or worse. Proper socially acceptable behaviour onpart of everyone in a society is must for order, otherwise it will be anarchy. To avoid all this, there is a narrative, that is God and religion. Mostly people are innocent, and follow the prescribed path. If someone goes around burgling houses, there is nothing you can do about it, only the police can help. But the police can catch the burglar and put him in jail. That is the fear the burglar has. Same fear , of God, is put in all of us, by religion. Stop believing all this, and be a himane human being. You will find that there are a lot of people who don't believe in this things, but they are not criminals, they are actually better educated people, you will find. If you are good, religion is not needed!

@@theunusualgyan9940 Not a book but a series of books are written in the form of Puranas, Upanishads, Vedas, Gita, Epics: Mahabharat & Ramayan which explains various yug dharma rooted within deep morals behind those fascinating stories and its application in our current lives. These teachings holds great relevance even today. Rishi and munis really thought this through.

I've been a huge fan of your podcast and I really admire the way you bring out the profound knowledge and learning via your questions.
